Dark Matter7/28/2012 So you ask, what is dark matter? Why do I care? Believe it or not, there is actually more dark matter in the universe than there is atom matter. Dark matter is a type of matter hypothesized to account for a large part of the total mass in the universe. It cannot be seen directly with telescopes; evidently it neither emits nor absorbs light or other electromagnetic radiation. Instead, its existence and properties are inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter, radiation, and the large scale structure of the universe. Dark matter is estimated to constitute 84% of the matter in the universe and 23% of the mass-energy. ![]() Oh and there isn’t just dark matter, there’s Cold Dark Matter, Warm Dark Matter, Hot Dark Matter, and Mixed. Not to mention baryonic and nonbaryonic dark matter. Dark matter came to the attention of astrophysicists because of discrepancies between the mass of large astronomical objects and their gravitational effects, and mass calculated from the "luminous matter" like stars, gas, and dust. According to consensus among cosmologists, dark matter is composed primarily of a new, not yet characterized, type of subatomic particle. The search for this particle, by a variety of means, is one of the major efforts in particle physics today. Although the existence of dark matter is generally accepted by the mainstream scientific community, several alternative theories have been proposed to try to explain the anomalies for which dark matter is intended to account. One of the ways scientists are researching it is through the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). ![]() This is the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator. The funny thing about this instrument is when the scientist decided to turn it on, they weren't sure if it was going to make a tiny black hole that would grow and gobble up our solar system. Funny huh? Same situation as the nuclear bomb; they weren't sure if it wasn't just going to ignite the entire planet. Those pesky scientists and their sense of humor... granted they "claimed" the chances of any of the above scenarios from happening were slim. I don't fault them for doing it. I'm one of the first people who would push the big red button with the sign over it declaring, "DO NOT PUSH THE RED BUTTON". I just gotta do it, to see what happens. But it just takes a lot of balls to push "That" button-knowing you could-could end all life on Earth. ![]() To me, the best way to look at dark matter is, it’s what black holes are made of. Of course this is just a hypothesis on my part. I’m not a scientist but no one knows what black holes are made of at this point. It just makes sense, nature has a way of balancing itself out and wouldn’t it be fitting the thing that makes the solar systems (made of atoms) turn, was the black hole (made of dark matter) in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. So why is any of this important? Well, it has been determined that even if we found a way to bend space, there would never be enough power required to travel through the universe. And according to scientists it would therefore make space travel impossible, which would make the existence of an advanced alien exploration, improbable. But, BUT, what if an alien civilization found a way to harness the power in dark matter or dark energy? There is an abundance of it throughout space, again more of it than there is of atom matter. And then, add in the ability to fold space time, to me, makes it all possible. If another species is traveling in space, then they are advanced enough, scientifically, to use these tools. Just because we can't do it and we don’t understand it, doesn’t make it impossible, just unbelievable.

???Dimensions???7/21/2012 What are dimensions? According to Wiki “A temporal dimension is a dimension of time. Time is often referred to as the "fourth dimension" for this reason, but that is not to imply that it is a spatial dimension. A temporal dimension is one way to measure physical change. It is perceived differently from the three spatial dimensions in that there is only one of it, and that we cannot move freely in time but subjectively move in one direction. ![]() The best-known treatment of time as a dimension is Poincaré and Einstein's special relativity, which treats perceived space and time as components of a four-dimensional manifold, known as spacetime, and in the special, flat case as Minkowski space. Also in physics, three dimensions of space and one of time is the accepted norm. There are theories that try to unify different forces and such – these theories require there to be more dimensions. Superstring theory, M-theory and Bosonic string theory respectively posit that physical space has 10, 11 and 24 dimensions. These extra dimensions are said to be spatial. However, we perceive only three spatial dimensions and, to date, no experimental or observational evidence is available to confirm the existence of these extra dimensions. A possible explanation that has been suggested is that space acts as if it were "curled up" in the extra dimensions on a subatomic scale, possibly at the quark/string level of scale or below. An analysis of results from the Large Hadron Collider in December 2010 severely constrains theories with large extra dimensions.[6]” So would a ghost be classified as being in another dimension? How about shadow people? Are those 2 different dimensions or do they share the same one, which is why we can see them every once in a while? ![]() According to some scientists it is generally believed that dimension coexist together like bubbles. And like bubbles, sometimes they merge, but does that mean they also pop? Now, I do believe in the merge theory only because of the Mandela effect I talked about in an earlier blog. So when this merge happens, are there inherent casualties because of combining of dimensions. Obviously not everyone would be living in both dimensions before the merge. Did people just disappear. Or if you die in one dimension, then you die in all the dimensions? And how do these dimensions form? Is it every time a person has a choice? In one dimension a person does route “A” and then the dimension splits off so that same person can take route “B”? ![]() What about all the “You”s in all the other dimensions? By the end of your life would you even be recognizable to yourself? How drastic would your personality be? I suppose it could be a part of the learning process. Think; if your soul came to Earth to learn, what a great way to learn if you could try every avenue of choice put before you. And then when you die, all the “You”s fuse back together to give you the full scope of everything you learned. And our brain must have some kind of link the other "You"s. Is this what explains a psychic? That their brains are more linked to the other dimensions then the rest of ours. Perhaps this is why we only use 10% of our brain, because the other 90% is spread out over multiple dimensions. A lot of questions. Very few answers. What I'm up to...7/14/2012 About 5'2" on a good day.
Yikes, are things in a whirlwind or what? "Book things" are in the works Aug./Sept. All sorts of promotional events will be occurring then which concerns my first book. So stay tuned. I decided not to list my book in Google Books because of a clause in the contract that I do not agree with, but it is still on sale at Samshwords for $3 until July 31, 2012. The second book is coming along. It's funny because I write in scenes, so depending on the mood I'm in, decides which scene I'm writing. And then slowly the scenes begin to merge into a book. Physically, I got this knot behind my left shoulder blade that if I could reach it with a dull spoon, I'd carve it out of back-if only I could reach back there... so irritating. Ever Heard of the Bloom Box?7/8/2012 Heard of the Bloom Box? So when do we, the population, get one? Shouldn't this be the government's first priority? It would quickly change the world market in the US favor. Though, I'm sure big energy lobbyists would be strongly against it. I'm just saying, it's tested and sitting on a shelf-what's the hold up? If Obama, or any candidate really wanted to take office, they would mandate a government incentive for either the manufacturer to bring down the price so home owners could buy their own power source, or give the incentive right to the consumer. It would skyrocket the US economy overnight.
