Alright-don’t be like that...
I have to tell you, I have lived all over the United States and in almost every state, at the early hours of the morning, when every normal person is asleep; there is a strange low rumbling hum traveling through the ground. It’s a deep machine hum that fluctuates with a percussion like pattern. The vibration feels as though it is very strong but at a distance, and the type of vibration that if you weren’t completely still, you’d miss it. I have felt it in my chest through my bed, in several places across the country and typically around 3am. And because of my job, sometimes I end up sleeping in the middle of the day. But the sound is never there during the day. Never.
I only bring this up because the only thing that is strong enough to carry over a distance in the ground would be drilling. Who’s drilling? And why? Why only at around 3:00am?
Has anyone else felt this?
Mint Chip Ice cream, Krispy Kreme donuts, homemade pizza, pralines, Chinese chicken salad...mmmmm!
