What is a Soulmate? What is a Twin Soul?
When we meet a soul mate, there is an instant liking. Then as we come to know him or her better, we find that there is agreement in things that are important. Our attitude towards life situations is the same, although our interests may be different. The quality of our soul level is very similar. There is no jealousy arising, and the harmony and love that are flowing to and fro would make us happy in each other’s presence. The love energy between two soul mates can only be surpassed by the love between twin souls. Yet the love of twin souls is always with the opposite sex, that of soul mates can be with both. Neither is it likely between souls of two different groups. A twin in spirit may guide a grounded twin.
So an easy way to look at it is, your best friend is your Soulmate, and the love of your life is your Twin Soul (they complete you). Do all best friends, husbands and wives fit into these categories? No. There is a special connection that both would feel down to their core. Usually a person has many Soulmates and one Twin Soul. Ironically, twins would be considered Soulmates.
Do I have a Soulmate? Yes I do. We have been best friends since 1989.
Do I have a Twin Soul?
I believe I do, but I do not believe he followed me here. I've dreamed of him-but not in a sexual way. It started back in the early 90's. From that first encounter I recognize him every time, and I know, I KNOW who he is but he is no one I have ever met here on Earth. Its funny, because in knowing this, I have no drive to go out and "find the one". I know it's a waste of my time, and that being here is only temporary and I have more important things to accomplish. But I am certain I have dreamed of him even before the 1990's but I just didn't remember.
I laugh every time I dream of him because he's always "schooling" me on what I need to do. *snort* whatever...
